Dear ,

"Vocation, the Place Where Our Unique Gifts Meet the World's Deepest Need"
A 5-Star Panel- Matthew Stinchcomb, Martin Ping, Elaine Valdov, Michael Pergola, Julian Michael and Michele Risa

The time has come, given the challenges we face on the earth today, for more of us to offer our unique gift.

Activism is the name we give to sincere efforts to transform the world and create a more livable universe for all beings and for the earth itself.  Introspection, inquiry, contemplation, meditation and breathing are all vehicles for understanding our inner worlds and to putting words to our deepest yearnings.

What then is the link between contemplation and action?  Our panel will explore:
  • How do we unravel the false, outdated notions about meditation and vocation?
  • How can we both seek and surrender?
  • How can we marry feet-on-the-ground practicality with ecstatic and transcendent grace
  • How can we embrace our path in a way that enables us to embrace ALL paths?
  • How can a shift in consciousness create a paradigm shift?
We believe this moment is a spiritual initiation into a new kind of citizenship.

If you long to be of service to our collective evolution- and to do so in a way that has you feeling energized and empowered, come join us September 14th for an illuminating discussion.
One of Our Panelists, Matt Stinchcomb

Matt is the Executive Director of Good Work Institute, dedicated to educating and connecting a network of local community members. Previously, he was VP, Values and Impact at Etsy.com. In that role, he oversaw the stewardship of the company's mission and worked to give all employees the means to maximize the benefit their work has on people and the planet.

In 2013, he was named a GOOD Magazine 'Figure of Progress'.  The next year he was named as one of the Purpose Economy 100.  In 2016, he became a BALLE Local Economy Fellow.  Matt also serves on the Board of Directors for the Schumacher Center for New Economics (Chair) and Naropa University.
