Today most people approaching their elder years can expect to live another 20 or 30 years. But how do you want to live those years? Sage-ing (also known as Conscious Eldering) is a model for living ones elder years more consciously, more joyfully and more
compassionately.
Sage-ing can help us to develop a balanced plan for our elder years that is personally fulfilling and also beneficial to others.
Jerome will introduce Sage-ing concepts including life review, forgiveness work, issues surrounding our mortality as well as legacy and finding and giving our gifts.
Sage-ing sessions are not specific to any faith or denomination and will serve to enhance spiritual maturity in any faith practice. Based on the work: From Age-ing to Sage-ing: A Profound New Vision of Growing Older by Rabbi Schachter-Shalomi and additional resources. The program is geared to those 55 and older seeking purpose and meaning in the second half of life.
