Carolyn Jones is a Holistic Health Consultant/Practitioner who serves Marble Collegiate Church as a Labyrinth Docent. Modeled after the 13th century France Labyrinth in the Chartres Cathedral, this winding spiritual tool supports you as you invoke the blessings of sacred power to deliver the promises of the Universe.
It is the first labyrinth to be built in the city in over 80 years, and the first built in the 21st century. The marble Labyrinth is one of the only indoor, permanent, walkable labyrinths in New York City available to the public on a regular basis.
As you enter the room, you should know that there are 3 stages of this silent meditation walk: Releasing, Receiving,
and Returning.
Walk as many times as your schedule allows and remember to carry thick socks to keep your feet warm on the marble floor, if you wish to remove your shoes.
Clear your mind, become aware of your breath, and absorb the prayerful energy of like souls.
