Hi ,

People are loving our Action TIPS, so we're highlighting them here so you can digest them fully. Would enjoy hearing your thoughts.

“Freedom is essential to achievement.  No one can do his greatest work when his mind is cramped with worry, anxiety, fear, or uncertainty, any more than he can do his best physical work with his body in a cramped position.

Total freedom is imperative for the best brain work.  Uncertainty and doubt are great enemies of that concentration which is the secret of all effectiveness.

Confidence has ever been the great foundation stone.  It has performed miracles in every line of endeavor." ~ Orison Swett Marden from The Miracle of Right Thought

How can you achieve more goals with less stress?  Here's a tip from Mark Waldman.

If we don't give our brain small rewards throughout the day, stress levels build up and motivation decreases.  However, even a few seconds of pleasure will refresh the brain and increase productivity at work.  Without taking regular "pleasure breaks," we won't have the patience or perseverance to reach our long-term goals.

Examples: 1) Do something physically pleasure.  Slowly stretch.  Run your fingers through your hair.  Wash your face with warm or cool water.  Or yawn- it's a great way to massage your brain.  2) Think about something you've accomplished in the past year and savor the satisfaction it brought you. 3) Meditate on a word that captures one of your deepest personal or spiritual values.  Repeating that word will turn on 1200 stress reducing genes!

You'll achieve more goals with less stress if you do one pleasurable activity every hour when working and create a Pleasure Board.  (Interested?  I can send more info from Mark.)
