provided, people were meaningfully engaged with each other. We heard, "...people here are so warm. It's refreshing and inspiring."
- We love
offering options and each month a new set of questions replace the old, ineffective “What do you do?” You can learn a lot about a person after asking, "What is the best advice you ever got and from whom? Or, "What is the bravest thing you've ever done?"
- Our speaker, Oriya Pollak touched our hearts in, “The Business of Spiritual Leadership." Be sure to hear the wisdom he shared by reading the "Monthly Expert Gems" below.
- Another high point was our “Resource Exchange” segment where people said what they needed and
within seconds other people generously offered to help them. Wonderful examples are below.
- A new addition is our Monthly Gift. This month's gift was the quote written at the top of this newsletter. But don't
only read the quotes. As John F. Kennedy said, "...the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them."
- Thank you for your feedback. As per last month's survey, we offered you

The Business of Spiritual Leadership

Oriya is calling us, the leaders, to access our magic. An overview of the
presentation.
1. Some basic truths: You're not just alive. You are creating your reality. What you imagine is possible for you. 2. DON'T do your New Year's Resolution. Use the winter to "spring board" into
spring. 3. Use winter's space, silence and time to create a clean slate, and ask: What am I experiencing? What do I envision? What do I wish I could be doing if I had the courage to do it? 4. Remember to be easy on yourself. The old approaches no longer apply. Instead use your imagination, your belief systems, your speech, and your inner speech as an indicator of where you are, what is working, what is not, and what you will manifest.
