November Meeting
MHCC 3-Prong Approach
  1. Heal Personally: Breath has the power to heal. Place  right hand inside left, just inches from your heart. Inhale thru nose, exhale nose;  inhale mouth, exhale mouth; Inhale nose, exhale mouth; Inhale mouth, exhale nose.  Continue. Close your eyes and feel the healing of your breath-  wave after wave.

  2. Grow Professionally: Corporations offer an effective way of reaching many people. As a member, you can join our Corporate Wellness Program. See our "Monthly Expert 'Gems.'"

  3. Build Community: Using our approach to networking, people will know you, like you, and trust you. This can translate into 27 million relationships! For more information, come to our next meeting. Details below.
Manhattan Holistic Chamber of Commerce (MHCC) is offering a unique opportunity for innovative healthcare education and distribution.  We offer you an opportunity to be part of an historic moment that will shift Manhattan consciousness- and then the world- about Integrative Medicine.

During this challenging, turbulent time, we send our compassion and love to all beings for health and healing.  This attack is on all humanity and the world must come together to stop the madness. We must remember that there are more of us seeking light than seeking fear.

We are among the light seekers: Integrative Medical Doctors, Integrative Holistic Dentists, Integrative Podiatrist, Homeopathist, Chiropractors, Psychotherapists, Nutritionists, Acupuncturist, Coaches and Body Workers- from Rolfer to Massage to Physical Therapist...dedicated to heal personally, grow professionally, and build community.

Once again, we tried to capture the energy in our collage.  To experience the energy first hand, we hope you will come to our meeting next month. Details below.

Here’s a synopsis:

  • As a result of the many interactive activities provided, people were engaged and in a short time came to know each other.  We heard, "It's clear that the Chamber is a warm and caring community."

  • In the spirit of offering options, each month a new set of questions replace the old, ineffective “What do you do?” You can learn a lot about a person after asked, "You just found $5,000 in an unmarked envelop on the street. What do you do with it?"

  • Our speaker, Jay DeRosa gave a value-packed presentation, “How to Build a Corporate Wellness Program."  Be sure to read our Monthly Expert “Gems” below.

  • Another high point was our “Resource Exchange” segment where people said what they needed and within seconds other people generously offered to help them. Wonderful examples are below.
  • As per your survey, we offered you tools to build Corporate Wellness Programs. We're now looking for speakers on Social Media and Legal Issues.  If interested, contact me. See our Top Ten Topics for more specifics.
We’re committed to helping you THRIVE and getting all of us a greater presence at the healthcare table.    Are you with us?  Hope to see you at our next meeting.

Here’s to us bold innovators!

We enjoyed  got a glimpse of how to introduce our business to a corporation.

An overview of the presentation:
1. Understand the pros and cons of each type of wellness program, why companies choose certain programs over others and what these programs mean to you.
2. Learn to take what you do as a practitioner and package it for companies of all sizes.
3. Research what companies are a good candidate for your wellness program.
