Hi ,
It was Independence Day here in the US- a day we celebrate freedom and independence. So, I was wondering, what is freedom and independence for me? Freedom or liberation from what? Outer versus true inner freedom?
I think of Mandela as told in his autobiography, “Long Walk to Freedom.” After spending 27 years in prison, he stands for the triumph of dignity and hope over despair and hatred, of self-discipline and love over persecution and evil.
For me, freedom also looks like this: As I readied to leave for vacation, someone tells me that I’m making the wrong decision, that where I’m going is dangerous, not the right time, and too problematic. Instead of being triggered and defend my decision- which I used to do, I listen and hear their point of view as a reflection of what they see and believe and not a reflection of
my self-worth. I support my being me and they being them. No tug of war. I celebrate my emotional freedom!
This affects my physical, mental and spiritual well being also. And so I enjoy 4 times the benefits! I share how you can, too, in our next free workshop, “360 Health” on July 14th at Noon Eastern: https://360healthjuly14.eventbrite.com
What does freedom look like for you? Do you want an ROI of 4 times or 400%?
