The Basics
Reduce Stress: Slow down...stress compromises your immune system, nervous system, brain functioning, and more.
Sleep 7-8 hours: Allow your body to deeply rest. Research proves that during sleep our body restores and heals, ex., the liver detoxes, and the cerebral spinal fluid is pumped around the brain and flushes out waste products like a biological dishwasher!
Food that nourishes versus inflames: Fill your meals with rich colors of green, red and orange to paint your perfect picture of health.
Warm up your digestive system: Add more warming herbs to your diet like ginger and cinnamon while avoid cold drinks.
Sweeten with honey: Add honey- not sugar- to your daily diet.
Wash Hands for 20 seconds: Good old soap and water will do the trick. Remember to count to 20...it's longer than you think...and include the back of your hands, too.
Don't touch your face: Not your eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, any of it.
Cover your cough and sneezes: In the crook of your elbow. And afterward throw away your tissue and get a new one.
Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects: Period.
Stay home if sick: Except to get medication care, please stay home.
