GOOD NEWS! Gun SAFETY is making headline thanks to more than 140,000 of us signing a petition.
In the wake of devastating mass shootings in El Paso, TX and Southaven, MS, Walmart announced they are ending the sales of all handgun ammo, will completely exit the handgun market and asked customers to not openly carry guns in their stores.
After Walmart’s landmark decision, supermarket chain Kroger followed their lead and asked customers not to openly carry firearms in their stores.
And that’s not all. Last week 145 CEOs of some of America’s most respected companies sent a letter to the returning Senate to ask them to do more to protect customers and employees from gun violence. Specifically they have asked for stronger background checks
on all sales and for “red flag” laws. The letter stated:
“Doing nothing about America’s gun violence crisis is simply unacceptable and it is time to stand with the American public on gun safety.”
This major change is what people power is all about.
