In the US, many will be gathering with family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving. For many, this gathering can quickly switch from an exchange of sweet words to bitter anger. What to do?
If you know me, you know I will not offer you a quick fix.
Instead I will offer what you can do to begin to strengthen your “communication muscle.” Please notice I wrote the word, “begin” because meaningful change is a process. It’s an amazing process that offers you thousands of chances to receive thousands of benefits. More about how to access the process down below.
But back to your Thanksgiving meal that has
turned bitter. Uncomfortable. Unpleasant.
What can you do to NOT add
to the bitterness?
#1 STOP
#2 STEP BACK
By doing #1 and #2, you have achieved SUCCESS. Yes, success. By NOT making it worse. By choosing to NOT do harm. Then take a breath into your heart.
#3 FEEL who you are at your essence and begin to grow more of that.
